Listed below is the order of steps that need to be taken before an alarm can be
transferred from the Village’s Keltron to another monitoring service;
STEPS FOR THE NEW ORDINANCE
1. Letter of Cancellation (30 day notice). Send to the Fire Dept., Attention Fire Prevention Bureau at 12600 S. Pulaski Rd., Alsip, IL 60803.
2. Copy of UL approved central station certificate. Send to the Fire Dept.,
Attention Fire Prevention Bureau at 12600 S. Pulaski Rd., Alsip, IL 60803.
3. Cut sheet of radio being used. Send to the Fire Dept., Attention Fire
Prevention Bureau at 12600 S. Pulaski Rd., Alsip, IL 60803. Once
received the Fire Dept. Fire Prevention Bureau will call you.
4. Call Crosspoint Sales to disconnect the radio.
Your new company must be available at the same time to connect your
radio.
The Fire Dept. will have to test your new radio.

If you have any questions, please contact Danielle at 708-385-6902 ext. 239. Any tampering will the Village’s Keltron alarm box shall result in a $1000 fine. Any pre-mature disconnect of any alarm shall result in $1000 per day municipal violation citation.
