7 Mayor Ryan called the meeting to order at 7:30p.m. Clerk Harding called the roll with the following
8 in attendance: Trustees Dalzell, McLawhorn, Murphy, Perretta and Mayar Ryan. Trustees Juarez-
9 Mendoza and Murphy were absent. Trustee Nava-Esparza entered at 7:31pm.

11 Mayor announced: 1) Village wide clean up day will be May 13 from 9am-12pm starting at Village
12 Hall. 2) Student government night will be May 15th. 3) Mayor attending Lobby Days last week in
13 Springfield and attended a lot of good meetings.

15 MAYOR'S REPORT: Mayor Ryan presented: 1) REQUEST TO RE-CONSIDER AN APPROVAL OF
16 AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NUMBER 2022-08-1 COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN NON-
17 UNION EMPLOYEES AND APPOlNTED OFFICERS OF THE VILLAGE OF ALSIP, COOK COUNTY,
18 ILLINOIS.

20 CLERK'S REPORT: Clerk Harding presented: 1) Presentation of the April 17, 2023 Board Meeting
21 Minutes.

28 FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT: Trustee Murphy presented: 1)No report.

30 POLICE AND TRAFFIC SAFETY REPORT: Trustee Dalzell presented: 1)No report. Chief
31 Miller stated that they are looking to hire 4 police officers the beginning of May. Academy starts
32 May 8th. The village is also being considered for a grant that would provide money for items such as
33 body cams for the officers.

35 PUBLIC WORKS AND BOAT LALINCH REPORT: Trustee McLawhorn presented: 1) Request to
36 advertise for bid submittals of parkway tree inventory within the Village of Alsip.

38 SEWER AND WATER: Trustee Nava-Esparza presented: 1)No report.

40 BUILDING AND HEALTH REPORT: Trustee Perretta presented: 1) No report.

42 HUMAN RESOURCES AND INSURANCE: Trustee Perretta presented: 1)No report. Mayor
43 stated that they are doing more interviews this week for the Finance Director position.
